Calpe is a popular seaside town with its skyline dominated by the Peņon de Ifach, the mountain that rises out of the sea and splits the long sandy beaches. A popular area of Calpe is the small fishing port at the base of the Peņon, where you can order fresh fish in the restaurants that really has just come off the boat.
