Visual impact - we are keen to ensure that the site and the Sunhomes themselves, blend as much as possible with the natural surroundings in order to reduce the visual impact of the site both from within and from a distance.
This has resulted in a very specific philosophy the key elements of which are:
1.Size
We believe our parks should integrate with the community and be a valuable part of it. Large developments have been shown to overwhelm their surroundings on all levels. Our approach is for parks of
thirty to fifty 2 bedroom units. A size we believe is capable of integration within the community without altering its characteristics.
2.Environment
We feel that our parks should work with the environment not dominate it. So we have designed the concept to have a 'light touch'. This means that the site infrastructure is kept to a minimum with
little or no hard landscaping, and working with the natural landscape in order to avoid spoiling it and minimising disruption.
